What happened in season 9?

Natsu completely destroyed Acnologia in the final episode of the series after which Dragonslayers were released from the time rift and finally able to reunite with their friends.

The final episode was released on September 29, 2019, after which the fans are eagerly waiting for updates on whether there will be the 10th season or not?

Unfortunately not! In July 2017, the creators of the anime announced that the 9th season will be the last and final season for the anime.
